Brendan Murphy

There are many coaches and trainers in the marketplace, but very few with this team's experience and credentials.

I have been in the hardware industry for over 30 years and currently own multiple successful businesses. This has allowed me to turn my hand to consultancy so that I can pass my knowledge to help develop other business owners and their teams.

There is a saying; those who can, do; those who can’t teach; well, I did do a Bachelor of Education; however, I went and did first and received my education from the market. I have been involved in coaching, developing, and presenting training packages for the floor team and management. I have been a sales representative, so I understand building a territory and relationships for long-term sustainability. I have been a Site / Complex Manager of a number of warehouses responsible for all elements of business and culture across P&Ls to HR and Sales. I have been the State Manager for 9 Stores giving me experience in multiple site management and call room functionality.

Over my career, I have had many experiences in different facets of the organisations I have employed. I can turn cultures and inefficiencies into successful businesses, where teams can come to work happy and enjoy their lives, and at the same time, show understanding about the business requirements that must be attained and go home safely to come again another day.

Several values I hold very dearly are integrity, respect, communication, and teamwork. What I have discovered over my career is that my passion and belief in supporting these values can guide people’s thoughts and attitudes and therefore create a very successful business.

My years of management have given me a very high management skill set, and combined with my Bachelor of Education, it has allowed me to lift people and businesses in a very hands-on way. These skills are transferable across many markets, as the product will change; however, the process rarely does.
